Does anyone know what campground the fishing/camping trip to Vermillion is at.  Would like to make plans/reservations.  Also, is there a group rate or anything like that I should ask for. Thanks

Here are the final rankings for 2011.  Congratulations to the top 5 finishers.  Thanks to everyone for participating in the league.  The Muskie Leaugue awards will be given out at the banquet this winter.

It sounds like the fish were active on Forest Lake.  Most people reported having multiple follows.  Eric Nelson reported the only fish caught.  He got a 43" which launched him to 5th place.

Here are the tenative final standings.  Please let me know if you notice any errors or omissions.  The Final Standings will be posted next week.

Hello Fellow Muskie Anglers,

I wanted to give you a heads up on a great event, Fishin' for Parkinson's coming back to the St. Croix River in Bayport, MN on Sept. 10th.  This is the second annual for this multi-species fishing tournament, and this year we have added a Muskie division.  This is a unique opportunity to fish a Muskie tournament on the St. Croix during the height of the Muskie season!

The Muskie tournament will be a 100% live release CPR tournament.  The Muskie division is limited to 20 teams (20 boats, teams of two anglers).  Teams will compete for cash, prizes and more.  Included with registration is also two tickets to the benefit dinner.  Please join us for this great event supporting the Capistrant Center for Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders.

No fish were reported from White Bear Lake 6/28 or Minnetonka 7/5.

Despite a dramatic drop in temps, most people reported seeing a number of muskies including some big fish.  I'm happy to report that 2 fish were caught; Bob Powers caught a 39" and Pat Miller got a 43.5".  Nice job, guys.
